CODERANKS LLC Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to registration for and participation in programs offered by CODERANKS LLC. By enrolling a child, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms on their own behalf and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, on behalf of the child.

For purposes of these Terms, the child enrolled in any CODERANKS LLC program may be referred to as the “camper,” “child,” or “participant.”

For purposes of these Terms, “program” or “camp” may refer to any CODERANKS LLC camp, class, workshop, course, session, or enrichment program. A “session” may refer to one scheduled meeting, class day, camp day, or other part of a program.

1. About the Program

CODERANKS LLC provides enrichment programming and does not operate as a licensed childcare facility.

Program activities, software, instructors, or schedules may be adjusted when necessary for educational, safety, staffing, or operational reasons.

2. Enrollment, Payment and Resolution of Concerns

A camper’s spot is not reserved until registration is completed and payment is received.

By submitting payment, the parent or guardian represents that they are authorized to use the credit card, debit card, account, or other payment method provided and authorizes the payment processor or CODERANKS LLC to charge or collect the amount shown at checkout, including any applicable fees or taxes.

By completing registration or booking, the parent or guardian agrees to keep a valid payment method on file and authorizes CODERANKS LLC or its payment processor to charge the card or payment method on file for applicable charges disclosed in these Terms and Conditions or other CODERANKS LLC policies, including late pickup fees, unpaid balances, approved add-ons, or other charges authorized during registration or checkout.

Parents and guardians agree to contact CODERANKS LLC in writing to attempt to resolve any concern, billing issue, refund request, or dispute related to a program before filing a claim or chargeback, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If a payment is reversed, declined, disputed, or charged back, CODERANKS LLC may treat the registration as unpaid and may suspend or cancel the camper's enrollment until the balance is resolved. Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may be treated as a violation of these Terms, and the parent or guardian remains responsible for any unpaid balance, chargeback fees, or collection costs to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing complete and accurate information during registration and for updating CODERANKS LLC if any information changes before or during the camp.

Enrollment may be limited by available space.

3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Credits

If a parent or guardian cancels more than 14 days before the first scheduled camp session, the parent or guardian may receive a refund of the amount paid minus any non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees.

If a parent or guardian cancels 14 days or fewer before the first scheduled camp session, no refund will be provided. The parent or guardian may receive credit toward another future CODERANKS LLC program, subject to availability. If no future programs are available, any refund will be issued at the sole discretion of CODERANKS LLC after deducting any non-refundable fees, administrative costs, and expenses already incurred.

Missed sessions, absences, late arrivals, and early departures are not eligible for partial refunds or prorated credits unless CODERANKS LLC agrees otherwise in writing.

4. Changes or Cancellations by CODERANKS LLC

CODERANKS LLC reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule, or modify a camp, program, or session at any time.

If CODERANKS LLC cancels an entire camp before it begins and the parent or guardian does not accept an offered replacement option, CODERANKS LLC will refund the amount paid minus any non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees.

If CODERANKS LLC cancels or changes a single session, CODERANKS LLC may offer a make-up session, a rescheduled session, or credit.

5. Attendance and Supervision

Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing the camp dates, times, final location, and check-in and pickup instructions before camp begins.

Campers should arrive only at the scheduled start time or during any check-in window provided by CODERANKS LLC.

Parents, guardians, or authorized adults must personally check campers in and out with CODERANKS LLC staff.

Campers must not be dropped off or picked up outside the facility, at the curb, on the sidewalk, in a parking lot, or without direct staff acknowledgment.

CODERANKS LLC is responsible for supervising campers only after check-in, during their scheduled camp time, and while they are in the program area or otherwise under CODERANKS LLC supervision.

CODERANKS LLC is not responsible for supervising campers before check-in, after pickup, or when they are outside the program area without CODERANKS LLC permission.

If a camper is registered for more than one session on the same day, the parent, guardian, or authorized adult is responsible for obtaining written confirmation from CODERANKS LLC before assuming the camper may remain between sessions. Unless CODERANKS LLC confirms in writing that supervised time between sessions is included, the parent, guardian, or authorized adult must pick up the camper between sessions. If CODERANKS LLC confirms that supervised time between sessions is included, the camper may remain in the program area under CODERANKS LLC supervision during that time. If a camper is not picked up between sessions when pickup is required, CODERANKS LLC may supervise the camper temporarily for safety. Temporary supervision does not waive these Terms and Conditions, does not guarantee supervision between future sessions, and may result in late pickup fees, unpaid balance notices, limits on future enrollment, or other reasonable action.

6. Drop-Off, Pick-Up, and Authorized Adults

Campers must be picked up promptly at the end of each scheduled session.

A camper may be released only to:

  • a parent or legal guardian; or

  • another adult authorized by the parent or legal guardian in writing.

Parents and guardians may list authorized pickup adults during registration and may update that list in writing.

CODERANKS LLC may require any parent, guardian, or authorized adult to show photo identification or sign or initial a check-out record before a camper is released.

Once a camper has been released to a parent, guardian, or authorized adult, CODERANKS LLC is no longer responsible for the camper’s supervision.

7. Late Pick-Up

Campers must be picked up promptly at the end of each scheduled session. Parents and guardians are expected to arrange timely pickup.

If a camper is not picked up within 15 minutes after the scheduled end of the session, a $35 late pickup fee may be charged.

CODERANKS LLC may provide a verbal or written warning before charging a late pickup fee, but is not required to do so. By completing registration, the parent or guardian authorizes CODERANKS LLC to charge the payment method or card on file for any applicable late pickup fee.

CODERANKS LLC may also send an online invoice, payment request, or payment link for the fee. Late pickup fees must be paid by card and are due within 48 hours after notice is sent, unless charged directly to the payment method or card on file.

If a camper is not picked up on time, CODERANKS LLC may contact the parent or guardian and any listed emergency contacts.

Repeated late pickup, significant delay, or unpaid late pickup fees may result in limits on future enrollment, cancellation of future bookings, unpaid balance notices, or other reasonable action.

8. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • providing accurate contact information;

  • providing emergency contact information;

  • identifying any adults authorized to pick up the camper;

  • notifying CODERANKS LLC of allergies, medical needs, medication needs, or other health or safety information relevant to participation;

  • reviewing the Student Agreement with the camper before camp begins;

  • ensuring the camper arrives prepared to participate;

  • communicating any changes that could affect the camper’s participation or safety.

9. Allergies, Medical Needs, and Medication

Parents and guardians must inform CODERANKS LLC in writing at least 48 hours before camp begins of any allergies, medical conditions, emergency medications, medication needs, or other health or safety concerns that may be relevant during camp.

CODERANKS LLC does not routinely administer medication.

If a camper may need medication, emergency medication, an inhaler, an epinephrine auto-injector, or other health-related support during camp, the parent or guardian must contact CODERANKS LLC in writing at least 48 hours before the first session. CODERANKS LLC may require written instructions and additional documentation, including instructions signed by a licensed medical provider, before agreeing to any medication-related arrangement.

Any medication provided to CODERANKS LLC must be supplied by the parent or guardian in its original container with clear instructions signed by a licensed medical provider.

Failure to disclose medical information within this timeframe may result in the camper being unable to participate until the required information is received and reviewed.

10. Illness, Injury, and Emergency Care

Campers should not attend camp if they are ill, contagious, or unable to participate safely.

If a camper becomes sick, injured, or unable to continue participating safely, CODERANKS LLC may contact the parent, guardian, or emergency contact and require prompt pickup.

By enrolling the camper, the parent or guardian authorizes CODERANKS LLC to contact emergency services and obtain emergency medical care for the camper when CODERANKS LLC reasonably believes such care is necessary and a parent or guardian cannot be reached promptly. The parent or guardian remains responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

11. Student Conduct

Campers are expected to help maintain a safe and respectful environment. Campers must:

  • follow instructor directions;

  • remain in assigned areas unless given permission to leave;

  • treat staff, other campers, equipment, and the space respectfully;

  • use technology, software, and materials only as instructed;

  • avoid behavior that is unsafe, aggressive, threatening, harassing, destructive, or substantially disruptive.

By participating in camp, campers and their parents or guardians agree that CODERANKS LLC may use reasonable measures when necessary to maintain a safe and respectful environment, including reminders, redirection, temporary removal from an activity, parent contact, early pickup, suspension, or dismissal from the program.

CODERANKS LLC may deny, suspend, or end participation when necessary because of unpaid fees, safety concerns, repeated disruption, property damage, violation of camp rules, or because the camper’s needs cannot be reasonably supported within the structure of the program after discussion with the parent or guardian.

If a camper is dismissed or enrollment is terminated due to violation of any of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to conduct issues, unpaid fees, property damage, safety concerns, or failure to disclose material health or safety information, no refund or credit will be issued.

12. Requests for Accommodations or Support

Parents and guardians should contact CODERANKS LLC before enrollment if a camper may need accommodations or additional support to participate.

Requests will be reviewed individually. CODERANKS LLC will consider reasonable accommodations that can be provided without fundamentally changing the nature of the program or creating an undue burden.

13. Technology Use

Campers may use camp computers, devices, software, accounts, and educational platforms only for activities authorized by CODERANKS LLC staff.

Campers may not:

  • access inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or unauthorized content, as determined by CODERANKS LLC staff;

  • attempt to access systems, accounts, files, or settings without permission;

  • install, remove, alter, or download software without approval;

  • damage or misuse equipment;

  • use technology to bully, harass, threaten, or interfere with others;

  • use personal devices during camp unless staff gives permission.

Parents and guardians may be responsible for costs resulting from intentional damage, misuse, or violation of these Terms by the camper, including damage to equipment, technology, materials, furniture, or property at the camp location.

14. Food, Drinks, and Personal Items

Unless CODERANKS LLC states otherwise, parents and guardians are responsible for any food, drinks, or snacks needed by the camper during camp.

Parents and guardians should avoid sending snacks that contain common allergens, including peanuts and tree nuts. CODERANKS LLC may restrict certain foods or snacks when needed for allergy or safety reasons. CODERANKS LLC cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Food and drinks may be restricted around computers, electronics, or other equipment.

Campers should avoid bringing unnecessary valuables. CODERANKS LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items except as required by law.

15. Prohibited Items

Campers may not bring weapons, weapon replicas, explosives, hazardous materials, or other dangerous items to camp.

16. Program Expectations

CODERANKS LLC does not guarantee any specific outcome from participation in a program.

Program descriptions, examples, projects, activities, images, visuals, illustrations, and promotional materials are provided for general informational purposes. Images or visuals used on CODERANKS LLC’s website or marketing materials may be illustrative and may not depict the exact program location, equipment, activities, projects, staff, campers, or final outcomes.

Actual activities and outcomes may vary based on the camper’s age, experience, attendance, participation, behavior, program format, available time, technology, staffing, equipment, software, and other circumstances.

By enrolling a camper, the parent or guardian acknowledges that participation does not guarantee mastery of any skill, completion of any specific project, improvement in academic performance, or any particular result.

17. Privacy

Information collected for registration and program participation is handled according to the CODERANKS LLC Privacy Policy, which is on our website and is provided during the registration process.

18. Parent, Guardian, and Authorized Adult Presence

Parents, guardians, and authorized adults are expected to exit the program area after check-in and may return at check-out, pickup time, or when requested by CODERANKS LLC.

Parents, guardians, and authorized adults may not remain in the program area during a program unless CODERANKS LLC gives permission.

CODERANKS LLC may limit access to the program area when necessary for safety, supervision, space, privacy, instructional, or operational reasons.

CODERANKS LLC may require parents, guardians, or authorized adults to check campers in and out with CODERANKS LLC staff. CODERANKS LLC may require a signature, initials, photo identification, or other check-in or check-out confirmation when needed.

Guests accompanying parents, guardians, or authorized adults may only access the program area with prior approval from CODERANKS LLC.

19. Assumption of Risk

Camp participation may involve ordinary risks, including but not limited to minor injuries, illness, allergic reactions, slips, trips, falls, equipment-related incidents, interactions with other campers, and other unexpected events.

By enrolling the camper, the parent or guardian gives permission for the camper to participate and acknowledges the ordinary risks associated with camp activities.

20. Release and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian, on behalf of themselves and the camper, releases and agrees not to bring claims against CODERANKS LLC, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, agents, representatives, and host or partner locations for injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising out of or related to the camper’s enrollment, attendance, presence at the camp location, participation in camp activities, use of equipment, materials, technology, or facilities, interactions with other campers, staff, or third parties, illness, allergic reactions, slips, trips, falls, property damage, or other incidents occurring during the camper’s time at the camp location while under CODERANKS LLC supervision.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CODERANKS LLC, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, agents, representatives, and host or partner locations from claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

  • the camper’s participation in camp activities;

  • claims brought by or on behalf of the camper;

  • the camper’s conduct;

  • injury to another person or damage to property caused by the camper;

  • inaccurate, incomplete, or omitted information provided by the parent or guardian;

  • violation of these Terms by the parent, guardian, or camper.

21. Student Agreement

Before camp begins, the camper must review and agree to the Student Agreement.

The camper agrees to:

  • follow instructor directions;

  • stay in assigned areas unless given permission;

  • use devices, software, and materials only as instructed;

  • treat people, equipment, and the camp space respectfully;

  • avoid unsafe, disruptive, aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior;

  • ask for help if they feel sick, unsafe, confused, or need assistance.

The camper understands that camp activities may involve ordinary risks, including minor injuries, illness, allergic reactions, slips, trips, falls, equipment-related incidents, or other unexpected events.

The camper agrees to participate responsibly and follow the camp’s safety rules and behavior expectations.

22. Camp Communications

By completing registration, the parent or guardian authorizes CODERANKS LLC to use the phone number, email address, emergency contact information, or other contact information provided during registration to send camp-related communications, including confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, emergency notices, illness or injury notices, behavior-related communications, and pickup-related messages, billing notices, late pickup fee notices, and unpaid balance notices.

23. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining parts of these Terms will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

24. Parent or Guardian Confirmation

By completing registration, the parent or guardian confirms that they:

  • are the camper’s parent or legal guardian;

  • have read and agree to these Terms;

  • agree on their own behalf and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, on behalf of the camper;

  • will ensure that the camper reviews and agrees to the Student Agreement before camp begins;

  • have provided accurate information to the best of their knowledge.
